Demands for sterilization using UV-LEDs are rapidly growing these days. Therefore, Yamamura Photonics is actively working on the development of new products for UV-LED packages.
As a first step, to realize highly hermeticity and highly reliable packages, we started trial production of Caps and Lids that use UV-B (280 nm ~) transmitting glass as the window parts.
The sterilization market is expected to become even more significant in the future due to the effects of viruses and other factors. To contribute to its development, Yamamura Photonics will enthusiastically continue to develop new products.
